Member Comments: Their customer service is top notch. They called us when they said they would every time. They were also the only ones in the area that sold the premium pad we wanted. The only things that didn't go well were their estimator was an hour and half late, but he did call to let us know, and one of our rooms carpet didn't show. So, we installed the color we chose for our other rooms since they had extra of that. They apologized and offered for us to use the carpet with the different color and then they would install the other color when it arrived at no charge. We opted to keep the other color and they provided a reasonable discount for the mistake. I highly recommend Flynns. There customer service and willingness to find us the right carpet and pad for our needs was better than any other company we visited.

Member Comments: A great experience! The staff was very proficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have a rental home that they carpeted. From start to finish, my experience with this company was wonderful. They were friendly as I came into the show room, directed me to the appropriate product and within 15 minutes I had made my selection, scheduled installation, paid, and was on my way. They installed my carpet on time and cleaned up after. I will definitely use them again for other rentals I own.

Member Comments: Ted (in Bellevue store) was very friendly and very helpful. We scheduled a professional measurement and that was quick and he came when he said he would. The installer showed up on schedule and got right to work. He had to take the carpet back to the store to cut as we didn't have room for him to do in our garage/family room. He was gone for about an hour and came back and worked quickly to have it finished. I will definitely use Flynn's again because of their great customer service and professionalism. Pricing wasn't bad either!

Description Of Work: I had contacted two companies to get a bid on some flooring, and the degree of assistance I got with Flynn's without spending a penny was exceptional. They even gave me product to bring home out of their inventory, and there was no guarentee that I was coming back to them. They gave us plenty of options to choose from.

Member Comments: I was in a big rush to get new carpet installed in my rental, a new tenant just moved in and the existing carpet smelled like urine despite several attempts to clean it out. I was leaving town in a few days and needed help fast over the 4th of July holiday weekend. I was looking for quality and quick professional installation, and I found it despite their no frills budget reputation. I called up the Federal Way store and asked if it was possible to install carpet next day, and they said "no problem!" I worked with Derek and he showed me several quality carpets and colors they had in stock and ready to be installed next day. I picked a stain master type carpet and he quickly worked out a installation layout plan using my measurements (some places insist on their people coming out to measure, which would have taken another day). I was in the store about 20 minutes and was on my way, I was able to complete the whole transaction during my lunch break; greatly appreciated. We agreed on a "PM" installation time for the next day as the carpet padding I wanted was at their Lynnwood store, which was fine with me. Derek said they would call me when the installers were on their way, but they did not do that, my only real complaint. The installers showed up about 11:30am, which I did not expect. I expected them to show up after noon at the earliest, and expected a call. As a result the installers showed up before we had all the items moved out of the room, luckily we only had a few small items remaining and we were able to move them while the installer removed the old carpet. The installers did a very good job removing and installing the new carpet and kept the trim around the rooms in good shape. I was very impressed with their seams and how quickly and accurately they worked. The first worker who showed up to start the old carpet removal didn't speak English well, however it did not effect his performance much. The second installer who showed up before the new carpet and pad was installed really seemed to know his stuff and was able to explains things better as he knew English fluently. Despite the timing mishap, I was very impressed with Flynn's and Derek at the Federal Way store in particular. Derek called to follow up on the job the next day as well. I will certainly do business with them again. One last thought, while I didn't put a lot of stress on the cost of this project, I think their prices were much less than most places. I paid $1.39/SqFt for the high quality stain resistant carpet, $0.58/SqFt for the 8lb pad, $139 for installation, and $82 for removal and haul away. Grand total was $1044 including tax.

Member Comments: Carpet was needed to replace a very worn carpet over an unfinished hardwood floor. Flynn's was ready to send a crew the same day but we needed time to prepare. We removed the old carpet, the tack strips and staples so the installation would go more quickly. The installer arrived on time, and in 2 hours we had new carpet. The job required that an edge be created on the hardwood floor where the unfinished section met the finished section. The installer did a great job and we love the new look!

Their normal routine is to help a person select a carpet first and then take measurements at their home. I asked that they take the measurement first and they did. We then traveled to their location and were assisted in choosing a carpet and padding. They called when they had obtained the carpet and we set up an appointment for installation. The installers called while on route and arrived early. They worked quickly, cleaned up everything and remained curteous and professional the whole time. We picked out the carpet on September 17 and were walking on it September 29th. In this present climate of predatory, buyer-beware practices; it is so wonderful to have Angie's List to turn to and for businesses to realize that their deeds good and bad will be recorded and scrutinized.
